Our partners
The National Youth Orchestra of France receives funding from the Ministry of Culture via the Direction Générale de la Création Artistique (DGCA) for all of its activities.
The OFJ also receives support for its residency from the Saline Royale d’Arc-et-Senans and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
OFJ benefits from corporate sponsorship from the LEFORT group, which specializes in the design of equipment for the recycling of metal waste.
As well as its collaboration with the Saline Royale, the OFJ works with the Opéra de Dijon, the Doubs department and the city of Dole, which provide invaluable aid organising concerts and workshops in the surrounding area.
The OFJ benefits from loans of instruments and equipment and the support of the Saline Royale d’Arc-et-Senans, the Dijon Opera, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, the Doubs department, the city of Dole and the Grand Dole community of communes, the Besancon CRR, the Dijon CRR and Salvi Harps.
The OFJ would like to give its warm thanks to Salvi Harps, who have been generous enough to lend the OFJ two new, very high-quality harps for all the 2023 symphony sessions.
In 2023, the OFJ entered into a partnership with Radio France’s Philharmonic Orchestra for a side-by-side concert between the music of Radio France’s Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of France during the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival. The OFJ is a partner of France Musique, which records and broadcasts the National Youth Orchestra of France ’ concerts. In 2023, France Musique broadcast live the side-by-side concert between the music of Radio France’s Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of France during the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival on July 27th.
The OFJ is a partner of Démos at the Philharmonie de Paris so that young Démos musicians can be mentored by OFJ musicians.
The OFJ is partnering with ProQuartet, the European Chamber Music Center, with which it is collaborating on the 2024 visit of the Pantoum Trio, residents of ProQuartet, for the classical session as soloists.
The OFJ is a partner of the Unanimes! scheme launched by the Association Française des Orchestres to support young composers, and is participating in launching a project that, in 2024, will host young composers in residence, enabling them to develop their mastery of orchestral writing.
The OFJ is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras (EFNYO) and the Association Française des Orchestres (AFO).
It is a founding member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), in which its musicians are represented every year.
